Come And Meet
Each Other
We are a group of mainly older people (aged 55 plus) who meet every
Wednesday afternoon in the Wesley Centre. We play games one week,
including carpet bowls, scrabble, Rummikub, tridominos, cards etc,
and on alternate weeks we will have a guest speaker. Speakers have
included: slides on the USA and Canada, Yorkshire Churches, Yorkshire
Customs, Church Leaders, and many more etc. At each meeting there
is always tea, coffee, biscuits (not good for the waist line!!)
and time to chat with friends.
We also have trips out in the summer and meals out twice a year.
Anyone is welcome, men or women. If this sounds like your cup of tea, why not come
along and meet us.
